Dabbapupphajatakam anutiracari bhaddanteti idam sattha jetavane viharanto upanandam sakyaputtam arabbha kathesi. So hi sasane pabbajitva appicchadigune pahaya mahatanho ahosi. Tattha cirampiti dve tayo divase sandhaya vuttam. Sigalopi ajja bhariyam rohitamaccham khadapessamiti tutthacitto tassa santikam agami. Sa tam agacchantam disva abhinandamana imam gathamaha yathapi raja nandeyya rajjam laddhana khattiyo evahamajja nandami disva punnamukham patinti.
