                     54. Dibbacakkhunananiddesavannana
     [106] Dibbacakkhunananiddese alokasannam manasi karotiti diva va rattim
va suriyajoticandamanialokam alokoti manasi karoti. Evam manasikarontova alokoti
sannam manasi pavattanato "alokasannam manasi karoti"ti vuccati. Divasannam
adhitthatiti evam alokasannam manasikatva divati sannam thapeti. Yatha diva
tatha rattinti yatha diva aloko dittho, tatheva rattimpi manasi karoti. Yatha
rattim tatha divati yatharattim aloko dittho, tatheva divapi manasi karoti.
Iti vivattena cetasati evam apihitena cittena. Apariyonaddhenati samantato
anaddhena. Sappabhasancittam bhavetiti saobhasam cittam vaddheti. Etena dibbacakkhussa
parikammalokarammanam cittam kathitam. Alokakasinarammanam catutthajjhanameva va sandhaya
vuttam. Tassevam bhavayato obhasajatam cittam hoti vigatandhakaravaranam. Tena hi
dibbacakkhum uppadetukamena adikammikena kulaputtena imissayeva paliya anusarena
kasinarammanam abhinnapadakajjhanam sabbakarena abhiniharakkhamam katva
"tejokasinam odatakasinam alokakasinan"ti imesu tisu kasinesu annataram
asannam katabbam, upacarajjhanagocaram katva vaddhetva thapetabbam, na tattha
appana uppadetabbati adhippayo. Sace hi uppadeti, padakajjhananissayam
hoti, na parikammanissayam. Imesu pana tisu alokakasinamyeva setthataram, tadanulomena
pana itaram kasinadvayampi vuttam. Tasma alokakasinam itaresam va annataram arammanam
katva cattari jhanani uppadetva puna upacarabhumiyamyeva thatva kasinam
vaddhetabbam. Vaddhitavaddhitatthanassa antoyeva rupagatam passitabbam. Rupagatam passato
panassa tena byaparena parikammacittena alokapharanam akubbato parikammassa varo
atikkamati, tato aloko antaradhayati, tasmim antarahite rupagatampi na dissati.
Athanena punappunam padakajjhanameva pavisitva tato vutthaya aloko pharitabbo.
Evam anukkamena aloko pharitabbo. Evam anukkamena aloko thamagato hotiti.
"ettha aloko hoti"ti yattakam thanam paricchindati, tattha aloko titthatiyeva.
Divasampi nisiditva passato rupadassanam hoti. Tattha yada tassa bhikkhuno mamsacakkhussa
anapathagatam antokucchigatam hadayavatthunissitam hetthapathavitalanissitam tirokudda-
pabbatapakaram gataparacakkavalagatanti idam rupam nanacakkhussa apatham agacchati,
mamsacakkhuna dissamanam viya hoti, tada dibbacakkhu uppannam hoti. Tadeva cettha
rupadassanasamattham, na pubbabhagacittani.
     Tatrayam dibbacakkhuno uppattikkamo:- vuttappakarametam rupamarammanam
katva manodvaravajjane uppajjitva niruddhe tadeva rupamarammanam katva cattari
panca va javanani uppajjantiti pubbe vuttanayeneva veditabbam. Idam pana nanam
"sattanam cutupapate nanan"tipi "dibbacakkhunanan"tipi vuccati. Tam panetam
puthujjanassa paripantho hoti. So hi "yattha aloko hotu"ti adhitthati, tam
tam pathavisamuddapabbate vinivijjhitvapi ekalokam hoti. Athassa tattha bhayanakani
yakkharakkhasadirupani passato bhayam uppajjati. Tena cittavikkhepam patva
jhanavibbhantako hoti. Tasma rupadassane appamattena bhavitabbam.
     Sattanam cutupapatananayati sattanam cutiya ca upapate ca nanaya.
Yena nanena sattanam cuti ca upapato ca nayati, tadattham dibbacakkhunanatthanti
vuttam hoti. Dibbena cakkhunati vuttatthameva. Visuddhenati cutupapatadassanena
ditthivisuddhihetutta visuddham. Yo hi cutimattameva passati, na upapatam, so
ucchedaditthim ganhati. Yo upapatameva passati, na cutim, so navasattapatubhavaditthim
ganhati. Yo pana tadubhayam passati. So yasma duvidhampi tam ditthigatamativattati.
Tasmassa tam dassanam ditthivisuddhihetu hoti. Ubhayancetam buddhaputta passanti.
Tena vuttam
"cutupapatadassanena ditthivisuddhihetutta visuddhan"ti. Manussupacaram atikka-
mitva rupadassanena atikkantamanusakam, manusakam va mamsacakkhum atikkantatta
atikkantamanusakam. Tena dibbena cakkhuna visuddhena atikkantamanusakena.
     Satte passatiti manussamamsacakkhuna viya satte oloketi. Cavamane
upapajjamaneti ettha cutikkhane upapattikkhane va dibbacakkhuna datthum na
sakka, ye pana asannacutika idani cavissanti, te cavamana. Ye ca
gahitapatisandhika sampatinibbatta va, 1- te upapajjamanati adhippeta. Te
evarupe cavamane upapajjamane ca passatiti dasseti. Hineti mohanissandayuttatta
hinanam jatikulabhogadinam vasena hilite ohilite onnate avannate.
Paniteti amohanissandayuttatta tabbiparite. Suvanneti adosanissandayuttatta
itthakantamanapavannayutte. Dubbanneti dosanissandayuttatta anitthakantamanapa-
vannayutte, anabhirupe virupetipi attho. Sugateti sugatigate, alobhanissandayuttatta
va addhe mahaddhane. Duggateti duggatigate. Lobhanissandayuttatta va
dalidde appannapane. Yathakammupagateti yam yam kammam upacitam, tena tena upagate.
Tattha purimehi "cavamane"tiadihi dibbacakkhukiccam vuttam, imina pana padena
yathakammupagananakiccam.
     Tassa ca nanassa ayamuppattikkamo:- idha bhikkhu hetthanirayabhimukham
alokam vaddhetva nerayike satte passati mahadukkhamanubhavamane, tam dassanam
dibbacakkhukiccameva. So evam manasi karoti kim nu kho kammam katva ime satta
etam dukkhamanubhavanti"ti. Athassa "idam nama katva"ti tam kammarammanam nanamuppajjati.
Tatha uparidevalokabhimukham alokam vaddhetva nandanavanamissakavanapharusakavanadisu

Satte passati mahasampattim anubhavamane, tampi dassanam dibbacakkhukiccameva. So
evam manasi karoti "kim nu kho kammam katva ime satta etam sampattim anubhavanti"ti.
Athassa "idam nama katva"ti kammarammanam nanamuppajjati. Idam yathakammupagananam
nama. Imassa visum parikammam nama natthi. Yatha cimassa, evam anagatamsananassapi.
Dibbacakkhupadakaneva hi imani dibbacakkhuna saheva ijjhanti.
     Ime vata bhontotiadisu imeti dibbacakkhuna ditthanam nidassanavacanam.
Vatati anulomanatthe nipato. Bhontoti bhavanto. Dutthu caritam, duttham va caritam
kilesaputikattati duccaritam, kayena duccaritam, kayato va uppannam duccaritanti
kayaduccaritam. Itaresupi eseva nayo. Samannagatati samangibhuta. Ariyanam
upavadakati buddhapaccekabuddhasavakanam ariyanam antamaso gihisotapannanampi
anatthakama hutva antimavatthuna va gunaparidhamsanena va upavadaka, akkosaka
garahakati vuttam hoti. Tattha "natthi imesam samanadhammo, assamana ete"ti vadanto
antimavatthuna upavadati, "natthi imesam jhanam va vimokkho va maggo va phalam
va"tiadini vadanto gunaparidhamsanena upavadatiti veditabbo. So ca janam va
upavadeyya ajanam va, ubhayathapi ariyupavadova hoti. Bhariyam kammam anantariyasadisam
saggavaranam maggavarananca, satekiccham pana hoti. Tasma yo ariyam upavadati,
tena gantva sace attana vuddhataro hoti, ukkutikam nisiditva "aham ayasmantam
idancidanca avacam, tam me khamahi"ti khamapetabbo. Sace navakataro hoti, vanditva
ukkutikam nisiditva anjalim paggahetva "aham bhante tumhe incidanca avacam,
tam me khamatha"ti khamapetabbo. Sace disa pakkanto hoti, sayam va gantva
saddhiviharike va pesetva khamapetabbo. Sace napi gantum na pesetum sakka
hoti, ye tasmim vihare bhikkhu vasanti, tesam santikam gantva sace navakatara
honti, ukkutikam nisiditva, sace vuddhe vuttanayeneva patipajjitva "aham bhante
Asukam nama ayasmantam idancidanca avacam, tam khamatu me so ayasma"ti vatva
khamapetabbo. Sammukha akkhamantepi etadeva katabbam. Sace ekacarikabhikkhu hoti,
neva tassa vasanatthanam, na gatatthanam pannayati, ekassa panditassa bhikkhuno
santikam gantva "aham bhante asukam nama ayasmantam idancidanca avacam, tam
me anussarato vippatisaro hoti, kim karomi"ti vattabbam. So vakkhati "tumhe
ma cintayittha thero tumhakam khamati, cittam vupasametha"ti. Tenapi ariyassa
gatadisabhimukhena anjalim paggahetva "khama"ti vattabbam. Yadi so parinibbuto hoti,
parinibbutapancatthanam gantva yava sivathikam gantvapi khamapetabbam. Evam kate
neva saggavaranam, na maggavaranam hoti, pakatikameva hotiti.
     Micchaditthikati viparitadassana. Micchaditthikammasamadanati micchaditthivasena
samadinnananavidhakamma, ye ca micchaditthimulakesu kayakammadisu annepi
samadapenti. Ettha ca vaciduccaritaggahaneneva ariyupavade, manoduccaritaggahanena
ca micchaditthiya sangahitayapi imesam dvinnam pana vacanam mahasavajjabhavadassanatthanti
veditabbam. Mahasavajjo hi ariyupavado anantarikasadisatta. Vuttampi cetam
"seyyathapi sariputta bhikkhu silasampanno samadhisampanno pannasampanno dittheva
dhamme annam aradheyya, evamsampadamidam sariputta vadami tam vacam appahaya
tam cittam appahaya tam ditthim appatinissajjitva yathabhatam nikkhitto, evam
niraye"ti. 1- Micchaditthito ca mahasavajjataram nama annam natthi. Yathaha "naham
bhikkhave annam ekadhammampi samanupassami, yam evam mahasavajjam, yathayidam bhikkhave
micchaditthi, micchaditthiparamani bhikkhave mahasavajjani"ti. 2-
     Kayassa bhedati upadinnakhandhapariccaga. Param maranati tadanantaram
abhinibbattikkhandhaggahane. 3- Atha va kayassa bhedati jivitindriyassupaccheda. Param

Maranati cuticittato uddham. Apayanti evamadi sabbam nirayavevacanameva. Nirayo
hi saggamokkhahetubhuta punnasammata aya apetatta, sukhanam va ayassa abhava
apayo. Dukkhassa gati patissarananti duggati, dosabahulataya va dutthena
kammuna nibbatta gati duggati. Vivasa nipatanti tattha dukkatakarinoti vinipato,
vinassanta va ettha patanti sambhijjamanangapaccangatipi vinipato. Natthi ettha
assadasannito ayoti nirayo.
     Atha va apayaggahanena tiracchanayonim dipeti. Tiracchanayoni hi apayo
sugatito apetatta, na duggati mahesakkhanam nagarajadinam sambhavato. Duggatiggahanena
pittivisayam. So hi apayo ceva duggati ca sugatito apetatta dukkhassa ca
gatibhutatta, na tu vinipato asurasadisam avinipatatta. Vinipataggahanena asurakayam.
So hi yathavuttena atthena apayo ceva duggati ca sabbasamussayehi ca
vinipatitatta vinipatoti vuccati. Nirayaggahanena aviciadimanekappakaram nirayamevati.
Uppannati upagata, tattha abhinibbattati adhippayo. Vuttavipariyayena sukkapakkho
veditabbo.
     Ayampana viseso:- tattha sugatiggahanena manussagatipi sangayhati,
saggaggahanena devagatiyeva. Tattha sundara gatiti sugati. Rupadihi visayehi sutthu
aggoti saggo. So sabbopi lujjanapalujjanatthena lokoti ayam vacanattho. Iti
"dibbena cakkhuna"tiadi sabbam nigamanavacanam. Evam dibbena cakkhuna passatiti
ayamettha sankhepatthoti.
                   Dibbacakkhunananiddesavannana nitthita.

     Imesu pancasu nanesu iddhividhananam parittamahaggataatitanagatapaccupanna-
ajjhattabahiddharammanavasena sattasu arammanesu pavattati. Sotadhatuvisuddhinanam
parittapaccuppannaajjhattabahiddharammanavasena catusu arammanesu pavattati.
Cetopariyananam parittamahaggataappamanamaggaatitanagatapaccuppannabahiddharammanavasena
atthasu arammanesu pavattati. Pubbenivasanussatinanam parittamahaggataappamana-
maggaatitaajjhattabahiddhanavattabbarammanavasena atthasu arammanesu pavattati.
Dibbacakkhunanam parittapaccuppannaajjhattabahiddharammanavasena catusu arammanesu
pavattati. Yathakammupagananam parittamahaggataatitaajjhattabahiddharammanavasena pancasu
arammanesu pavattati. Anagatamsananam parittamahaggataappamanamaggaanagataajjhatta-
bahiddhanavattabbarammanavasena atthasu arammanesu pavattatiti.
                        Pancananapakinnakam nitthitam.
